After the success of Rode Neuzen Dag, it was time for a new chapter: JEZ!
A refreshed concept with a clear mission: to put young people back in the spotlight. With bold branding, an energetic approach, and tons of enthusiasm, JEZ! hit the road across Flanders… quite literally.
Together with VTM, Qmusic, HLN, Belfius, and around 200 youth organisations, we built an experience that shook Flanders to its core.
The launch of JEZ! felt like an explosion of energy. During the JEZ! party week, the JEZ! boat toured across Flanders for an entire week: a floating Qmusic studio on board, docking in a new city every day, and live vibes every single night. Five party cities, 415 kilometers of waterways, 90 special guests, 150 crew members, and 70 hours of live radio: it was big, it was bold, it was live.
Turning an “ordinary” boat into a live radio studio? Check. In collaboration with De Vlaamse Waterweg, through floodgates and under bridges, the JEZ! boat became a floating wave of music, stories, and conversation. Hosts switched on the go, guests hopped on board, but the vibe stayed strong all the way through.
Different city, every night: in just 24 hours, we set up in a new city, brought an event packed with performances and encounters to life, and tore it all down; ready to start fresh in the next city.
Events followed one another at lightning speed, always with young people centre stage. Their energy was contagious. The JEZ! youth led the charge, and the grand finale at the MAS in Antwerp became an unforgettable highlight.
JEZ! 2023 ended with a bang, featuring performances by Grace, Gustaph, Pommelien Thijs, and Omdat Het Kan Soundsystem & Average Rob.
A total of €3,219,191 was raised for charity, and distributed by the King Baudouin Foundation across 200 organisations that put young people first. A powerful proof that youth energy truly sparks change. JEZ! isn’t just a campaign. It’s a movement.
In 2024, JEZ! was back. This time without the boat, but with just as much energy. Each day, a different city turned JEZ!-pink with live radio, performances, and meaningful encounters between young people and their city. From Ostend to Genk, youth took over the squares, and the energy was unmistakable in every city.
During the day, Qmusic reporters hit the streets; talking to young people, visiting projects, and uncovering their stories. Street by street, visibility and impact grew. Collection boxes helped raise support for youth projects all across Flanders.
And by night, the party took over. From Michael Amani to Laura Tesoro, from Aaron Blommaert to Regi. The vibe changed every day, but hit just as hard everywhere.
In Genk, everything came together: stories, energy, and €3,824,601 in raised support. The crowd felt the power of a generation already helping shape the future. Visible, tangible, and united.
What started as a new youth initiative grew into a household name in Flanders in just two years. With JEZ!, we set young people in motion, live and out loud. Together with DPG Media, Whisk helped lay the foundation for two powerful editions, proving that a strong story and the right approach can leave a lasting impact.
Live marketing isn’t about simply organizing something. It’s about feeling a brand, experiencing a message and anchoring an emotion. Because let’s be honest: that’s what truly sticks. And that’s exactly what we stand for.
