Whenever a Samsung brief lands, the Whiskers start buzzing.
An event for 500 guests: press, influencers, Samsung Members, super users, and specialists. Walking dinner, plenary session, party. And the colours of the new devices? Inspired by a botanical garden.
With that limited information, we went all in and developed our concept: Botanic Escape.
We didn’t just look for a fitting venue, we wanted a space that would amplify the story. Enter: a giant greenhouse in Amsterdam, still actively cultivating plants. The perfect setting for our futuristic escape into nature.
Scent, mist, the sound of water, neon lights, fancy food, and vibrant colours: every sense was stimulated. A place where imagination becomes reality. From the first step to the final stem, the venue bloomed into our botanical dreamscape.
Upon arrival, guests tossed a coin into a botanical pond and watched as a statue came to life. Each time a coin was tossed, she raised the new Samsung device and captured the moment with the camera.
Further on, our flower ladies invited guests to pick fresh herbs straight from the garden to create their very own custom flower cocktail. Dancing between the plants, peacocks graced the path to the plenary space, accompanied by the mystical ‘Voice of the Garden’.
Inside the plenary zone, we built the suspense. With a David Attenborough-style voiceover, guests were welcomed into a grand unveiling of Samsung’s newest colours and technologies. This wasn’t just a product launch, it felt like an expedition through a botanical wonderland, where technology and nature merged seamlessly. Afterwards, guests could explore the new devices in a series of interactive experience corners.
Because a Samsung Unpacked event doesn’t end after the announcement, we wrapped things up in style. Led by iconic Amsterdam DJ duo The Firm, layers by day & DJs by night, the dancefloor exploded. What began as a serene garden escape evolved into an unforgettable dance battle. Botanical Escape? Nailed it.
Amid all the lush experiences, we planted a different kind of seed: sustainability.
The venue, an active, eco-conscious greenhouse, ran entirely on solar energy, powered by 200 solar panels. Rainwater was harvested to water the plants, and heating came from the residual warmth of fermented green waste. Sustainable, circular, and future-proof. Even our invitations were printed on seed paper. Ready to bloom into real flowers after the event.
We took the green mindset all the way down to the details. No disposable carpet, but a real grass runner. 252 LED lights illuminated the venue in an energy-efficient way, and guests were shuttled from the central station to reduce individual transport.
We’re proving that high-impact events and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. Read more about sustainability and how Whisk embraces conscious choices.
Live marketing isn’t about simply organizing something. It’s about feeling a brand, experiencing a message and anchoring an emotion. Because let’s be honest: that’s what truly sticks. And that’s exactly what we stand for.
